Growing up in Southern Maryland, right where the Chesapeake Bay meets the Potomac River, Charlie began his journey towards becoming a UX designer. As early as high school, Charlie remembers identifying his love for design as he studied graphics art and printing.
After two years at a small college, Charlie began working at the local Navy base where he learned HTML and web development while attending the University of Maryland. Charlie’s background in development and his passion for creating products that make someone’s life or job easier shaped the path for his career in user experience design - even before user experience designers were a thing!
When Charlie is not in the office, he might be headed to Disney World with his wife and daughter – probably wearing one of his favorite Star Wars t-shirts. His other favorites include cooking, reading, binge watching good TV shows, and some casual video gaming. Eventually he will put together his RetroPi so he can play the old Nintendo games he loves.
