Using an empathetic and inclusive approach to design, Hollene works with data and psychology to better understand people’s motivations and stories in order to create a positive, human-centered experience.
Hollene’s background in research and psychology played a large role in her journey to the user experience design industry. After studying at the University of Colorado and obtaining her bachelor’s degree in Psychology, she took advantage of an opportunity to teach English in Thailand, and then upon her return, accepted a position with McKinsey and Company as an executive assistant.
Further exploring how psychology, research and design intersect; Hollene’s next goal would be to obtain certification in UX Design from Springboard. Along her journey she also acquired her Scrum Master certification from the International Scrum Institute.
When Hollene is not designing, she enjoys writing, hiking, traveling, and her mother’s delicious homemade Thai food.
